I called into Benchmark Sleep Services in Woden ACT without an appointment but in real need of help. Ben was with a customer but popped out to see me. He asked if I could come back in about an hour and he would fit me in. That day will stay with me forever. Ben helped with select a machine and mask and sent me home with my new sleep buddy. From that night on my life has changed. Ben was so helpful and understanding of my needs. At my first appointment I was half asleep and he was concerned. viacheslav fain100 days agoI visited the clinic last Saturday and had an absolutely outstanding experience. I was looked after by Pearl, who was incredibly professional, welcoming, and thorough. She spent all the time I needed to resolve my inquiries, and I never felt rushed at all. I purchased a new ResMed AirSense machine package at a very competitive EOFY sale price match. What stood out the most was Pearl’s attention to detail and her caring attitude. My appointment ran a bit longer than expected, and even though she had to attend to another patient, her multitasking was incredible—she managed to make both of us feel completely looked after. I was even offered a glass of water, which was a small but very pleasant touch! She was sharp and took the time to explain every detail of the new equipment. I truly felt taken care of, rather than just being rushed through a transaction. If I were the owner of this clinic, I would be incredibly proud to have such a valuable staff member. josephbm129 days agoI have General anxiety disorder and am always on edge doing new things and going to new shops. I have to say though, What a great experience I’ve just had. If this is your first visit to sleep apnea business you’ll be in the right place here at Benchmark sleep services. As is the way today parking any where is very difficult. Alas Benchmark sleep services are only a 5 min walk from Hurstville train station , Westfield or car park on roof above Cole’s. I was looked after by Barbara and Pearl, they took time to explain the masks and machine I was required to have. Set the machine up for me made easy and simple. I had the opportunity to try different masks to see which one was best feeling and fit. Mask all set and fitted machine set up and explained , appointment to follow up and I was off. Had me a follow week later, no extra fees as they are covered when you hire and buy your equipment you require. My first week sleep cycles were explained in terminology I could understand. Now that was funny, always a bit anxious about things , Barbara kept it light. Had a refit of mask just to make sure I had it in the correct place. All good thumbs up. There are so many machines and setting masks tubes filter and more, they carry a wide range of products and equipment that will suit all your needs. Nick Frame140 days agoI got diagnosed with sleep apnea through my rail work medical. Benchmark were recommended by a couple of colleagues who also used their services. All the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. They put any concerns that I had to bed (pun intended) and helped me find the best solution for me. Getting a comfortable night’s sleep took a while for me, but they worked through it with me and got me a mask that fitted correctly and allowed me to get back to my normal sleep pattern - but now with under 3 rather than 43 apnea events per hour. frank fazzolari383 days agoAfter getting a referral from you doctor I went to benchmark sleep services Eastwood yesterday to make an appointment and it just so happened they had a monitor available,I was looked after by Olivia, what a breath of fresh air, she was amazing, she was very professional and it was more than obvious and without hesitation she knew exactly what she was doing.it was so refreshing to see customer service like this, she did not rush me, she patiently took the time to explain to me how to use the machine and we even discussed some of the products available to help with my sleep,I took the monitor back this morning and was looked after by Vivienne who was equally as helpful, they both should be commended for their service and professionalism, she explained to me that my test was successful and the results will be back within three weeks. Rachelle515 days agoI recently had an experience with Benchmark Sleep Services, and I wanted to share my thoughts. Vivian, who works there, was excellent. She took the time to thoroughly inform me about the processes and changes, including an app that complements the devices. She ensured I got the right mask fit and explained everything clearly, which was really helpful. The only thing is whilst benchmark staff are good the company ResMed products are expensive and their payment plans lock to into a fixed rate of repayment for a few years. Important to know: if you choose ResMeds set payment plan, it accrues significant interest. In my case, the payment plan would have cost me $17 per week over three years (you cannot pay it off any faster). While this may not seem like a huge weekly amount, the total cost would end up being about $800 more for the same product. It's important to be aware of this because I didn't know about the extra cost when I started. That said, Benchmark sometimes throws in additional perks, like two masks of the same kind as part of your package if you pay upfront, which helps offset the cost slightly. Vivian was very upfront about these options, and that transparency really helped me make a more informed decision. Giving 5 stars because im reviewing benchmark and not ResMeds specific money intrest acruing plans. Overall, the services are fantastic, and I would definitely recommend Benchmark Sleep Services. I dealt with Kirsten who went through the entire processed, explained everything in plain English, and took her time to explain the results. She explained where the results should go to and what the differences should be. On each visit we reviewed results and she ensured that I understood. Any questions I had were answered. Kirsten also ensured I was happy with all the choices I made and when it came to purchase mg machine she ensured the whole process was seamless and everything was ready on time. My sleep has definitely improved and I am feeling so much better. I can not recommend benchmark or Kirsten highly enough, if you are thinking are about cpap most definitely come here and you will not be disappointed.
